Potters House Prayer Ministry Community Fridge
Glasgow, UK
Potter's House Prayer Ministry is a Christian organisation serving local communities in Glasgow and is located at 79, West Street, Opposite Bonny Pack Wholesalers, G5 8BA. We hold weekly Sunday meetings at 11 a.m. Our main purpose is to reach the broken and downtrodden in the community through our various programmes such as counselling, prayer & employment support as well as signposting to other local services as required. We are now embarking on opening a community fridge in light of the new cost of living crisis. People are struggling to pay for basic necessities such as food and heating. Potters House want to provide a solution and aim to be a refuge for people to be able to access food & support in these tough times. Our aim is to have a community fridge & pantry for people to access food in a dignified manner. We also aim to provide warm winter clothing and toys for families who are struggling to keep warm this winter. The days for the community fridge are tbc. We will also be serving items such as soup, roll and tea / coffee / cake on Sunday mornings, in addition to grocery items such as tinned foods, and other non-perishable items and providing a space to connect with members of the community.
