The Derwent Arms York

A church dedicated to St Wilfrid has stood in York since medieval times. Catholics call it the "Mother Church of the city of York". It is in Gothic Revival style. The arch over the main door has the most detailed Victorian carving in the city. By recycling the donated flowers we hope to bring joy and happiness to those who visit our setting. We are currently fund raising to replace our obsolete heating system. We are having a Strawberry tea and Open garden on Saturday 13th.july at the rectory in High Petergate York. The garden is open to the public on only two occasions each year, and is known as one of York's "hidden gems"
