We are a outreach group that goes out on a Saturday & Wolverhampton streets,we give out hot food ,sandwiches ,hot drinks ,snacks ,sleeping bags ,hot drinks ,clean clothes ,we've been going for 4 years now ,we feed between 40 & 50 people every Saturday evening ,from the church car park ,we also help with our guys once they get the own flat ,with donations for furniture for there new homes ,massive thank you to Aldi Stafford road Wolverhampton , for helping us so much ,last year at Christmas eve. ,we was able to take hot meals out to the homeless & help 3 emergency Homeless hostels too,and also provide food parcels for the homeless people in hostels & family in need ,all food that gets donated really helps

Cortonwood Comeback Community Centre

Cortonwood Comeback Community Centre was established in 1986 by members of the local community who recognised the need to tackle the problems of unemployment, exclusion and disadvantage in Brampton Bierlow and surrounding areas in the aftermath of the miner’s strike. Our Centre has always been run and managed by volunteers. Throughout our history, it has never had a paid manager and many of our groups are run by volunteers who give their time and expertise freely to the Community Centre. The Centre aims to help overcome the inequalities and lack of access to services that have a direct impact on the lives of the elderly, young people, and those on low incomes. We aim to advance education and provide facilities for recreation and leisure time, with the objective of improving people’s quality of life Providing a community service that’s needs-led, we adapt services to the needs of the community at any given time. We work in partnership with organisations RMBC, VAR, Fareshare, South Yorkshire Police, Dearne Valley College, Job Centre Plus, Elected Members, WEA and Serenity Training Academy. We offer a wide range of activities, advice and support services which are run by qualified staff and volunteers or delivered by our partners these include: Meals on Wheels Food Bank Benefit and debt Advice Housing support and advice Support with Employment, Job Search and Training CV Writing Fun and educational courses and activities Senior and Junior Youth Clubs Girls Group Youth Drama Group Senior Citizens Group Lunch Club Messy Monsters Toddler Group Breakfast, Tea & Toast Club Knit & Knatter Coffee & Crafts Men in Sheds Project The services that we offer an often free or low cost so that they are accessible to the local community.

Heineken Colleague Matched Giving 2026

As we aim to Brew a Better World we’re committed to making a positive impact in our communities. Every year colleagues from across the business run, swim, walk, cycle, bake and take on mountains to raise money for charities and community organisations close to their hearts. We’re proud to support your efforts by matching what you raise, up to a maximum of £200 per individual application and up to £500 for team applications. You can apply for fundraising support if you are a UK based colleague and can demonstrate you have raised more than £50 for a UK registered charity or community organisation. If you’re fundraising as a group of three or more colleagues, you don’t need to individually apply – instead you can apply as a group through the same form.

HEINEKEN Winter Foodbank Fund

Recent research by Neighbourly highlighted that due to the cost of living and external demands we all face, 83% of charities stated demand is rising and 92% say the cost of living is a reason for this. Not only are more people reaching out to foodbanks for support, but the volunteers supporting these charities are also finding it hard to maintain their level of help as well. This winter we are setting up a winter fund to enable HEINEKEN colleagues to donate what you can and support foodbanks near to where we work in Edinburgh, Manchester, Tadcaster, Herefordshire and London. You can donate as little or as much as you like and the fund will remain open until the end of December 2022 – all you need to do is click on the ‘Donate’ button below. Please note that all money donated will be collected in a central fund and the total amount raised will be shared evenly across the 5 foodbanks near our sites. It is unfortunately not possible to allocate where your donation goes.

We’re celebrating togetherness through HEINEKEN’s Brewing Good Cheer campaign HEINEKEN's Brewing Good Cheer campaign has always been about supporting our communities and this time we’re focusing on celebrating the Joy of True Togetherness. Pubs are the best place to connect with others and that's why we want to promote and support our pubs and encourage people to get back together at their local again.
