Keyworth Community Projects help those within our community in a variety of ways. For anyone struggling due to benefit cuts or just finding times generally tough financially, we provide weekly food parcels to help ease the burden and hope this reduces the need for having to skip meals for themselves or their family. We also work hard on events to bring our community together, including a free family day out in the summer and a barn dance. Part of our work is also to reduce food waste nationally and we have a wonderful team of volunteers who collect food from six local supermarkets. This is then stored correctly at our food bank to enable it to be passed onto anyone needing support.
