We provide free help and support for people on the margins of society. We fight for disadvantaged people in the UK to relieve all suffering from poverty, social exclusion, sickness and particularly among people affected by substance addictions which includes solvent abuse, drug and alcoholism addiction etc. Within our Christian community centres, we aim to offer help and restoration of such people and their families. We are a registered charity in the UK. Our services are completely free. We have a burden to reach out and care for young offenders and their families. We educate the public and those affected by solvent abuse, drug, and alcohol addiction and raise public awareness of the danger of drug misuse.

To help residents achieve a set standard of social purpose. Harvest Community Haven CIC provides food bank for the community. A warm space in the cold months for members of the community to sit and have a chat, a hot drink and talk to a friendly face. Support families who have children with toys, games, and activities, provide social engagement such as a youth club, over 55s group and Mother and Baby group. The organisation will act as a haven and a source of community engagement-multi-provisional hub also as a deterrent or a preventative tool with regards to tackling isolation and loneliness and by extension mental health related challenges will also be addressed especially among communities where mental health is a huge taboo subject.  Recreation and leisure services (e.g. Community library, community garden etc)  Community Café  Youth centres or empowerment projects  Network/collaborations with other local groups and organisations  Skills and training services  Health and social care services  Welfare or advisory services for vulnerable or disadvantaged people We operate from the Harvest Resource Centre at 154 Queens Road NG9 2FF We identify the people who use our services through word of mouth in the community, local collaborations with other agencies and projects such as social prescribers and support groups. We occasionally donate to a homeless shelter in Beeston and invite them to collect food items from where we operate., we share leaflets during outreaches and door to door visits and those who need the support engage with our services. We also support the community with friendly volunteers to lend a listening ear and chat to, many people are lonely and need company, Some people ask for prayer so we pray with them. We offer informal counselling and emotional support, Signpost people to the different services on the county website, We also offer academic support and career guidance from some of our volunteers who are lectures and Drs in their field of study. 2 times a year we run a community wardrobe (free clothing) for a few weeks. There are no charges for our services. We don't collect food from any supermarkets. We don't use any local press yet but we intend to publicize in the NG9 monthly magazine and other facebook communications - Nottingham We've uploaded some photographs to this page. We also advertise on the Nottingham Mutual Aid FB page. Some local supermarkets and community centres in Beeston. some of our visitors also post our posters on their social media pages. We are a local community group with the primary aim of reaching out to help people who are most in need. We receive food surplus from supermarkets within the area and provide for people and families who are going through financial difficulties and struggles within our community. Our work is making a real impact in people's lives and offers valuable support where it is needed most by ensuring people have food at their table. I believe that through the simple act of giving we can overcome many problems we can face in life whilst helping others in our neighbourhood through difficult times. Charity is held to be the ultimate perfection of the human spirit, because it is said to both glorify and reflect the nature of God. ... Charity has two parts: love of God and love of man, which includes both love of one's neighbour and one's self. In 1 Corinthians 13, Paul places the greater emphasis on charity (Love).As a community group this is what we endeavour to achieve. Objectives The object of Springwater community group is to carry on activities which benefit the community in particular - Provide Essential Food Supplies: Ensure that struggling families in derby ,burton ,Leicester,Nottingham and surrounding areas receive necessary food supplies, so no one goes hungry due to financial difficulties. - - Reduce Food Waste: Partner with local supermarkets ,Farash and food businesses to collect and distribute food items that are close to their sell-by date but are still safe for consumption, thereby reducing food waste and promoting sustainability. - Foster Community Support: Create a network of volunteers and community members to assist in the collection, sorting, and distribution of food, fostering a spirit of community support and cooperation. - Educate on Food Security: Educate the community on issues related to food security, nutrition, and sustainable practices to empower individuals and families to make informed decisions about their food consumption. - Collaborate for Advocacy: Work collaboratively with local authorities, charitable organisations, and other stakeholders to address the root causes of food insecurity and advocate for policies that support vulnerable populations.
