Looprun is a response division and part of an independent social enterprise. This is more than food and is part of a supportive services platform to help people get sustained in their own individual way. These are the impact stories created when all come together to do good for good. Service users are signposted to Looprun mostly from referrals including professionals in social and healthcare. Looprun provides free non perishables, perishable food, toiletries, and brand new clothing to people facing a temporary challenge. Whatever supermarkets, stores, and retailers can do is turned into a grateful donation to a neighbour in need. This is a response to real people in real-time. No food is banked providing a direct in and out service. We believe if the food is stored then a person in need is not getting any food, hence we provide an instant response and instant impact service. Looprun has access to professional volunteers who carry out a confidential support service to people in need. From homeless shelters, hostels, sheltered housing, care homes, soup kitchens and schools. This is a non voucher, free and confidential service. This means Looprun can reach more people in need with food donations. Anyone that receives a Looprun bag of essential food items is sustained thus creating a loop cycle. We distribute surplus food to help families, elderly and homeless and anyone in need of the surplus stock due to cost of living and poverty. We have a what’s app chat and support people from olio and we welcome new users to join our group chat every week if they need food. I collect surplus food from Tesco, Asda and kfc and this goes to helping a lot of people We don’t charge as all food we get is free so we pass it on to help others. Our group are a scout group and we help young people make friends gain valuable skills and help with donations when we go to elderly homes or homeless shelters. We do a lot of charity work outside of scouting times as well. The young people love helping us to deliver the food parcels and pack them

Yardley House works with young vulnerable homeless people from the age of 16 to 25. We offer a safe place to stay and support them in moving on into their own tenancy. Every year over 1200 young people are housed in St Basils' 29 supported accommodation schemes. For some young people, this includes their young children as well. We have a range of prevention, accommodation and support services to help young people regain the stability they need to rebuild their lives, gain skills, training and employment and maintain tenancies. Our aim is always to help them overcome the 'cycle of homelessness' so that they can go on to experience a bright, and fulfilling future. We work to make sure they never return to a state where they are at risk of homelessness again.
