Looprun is a response division and part of an independent social enterprise. This is more than food and is part of a supportive services platform to help people get sustained in their own individual way. With up to 94% success rate and seeing once those receiving free Looprun response bags to returning to stores as shoppers with baskets full. These are the impact stories created when all come together to do good for good. Service users are signposted to Looprun mostly from referrals including professionals in social and healthcare. Looprun provides free non perishables, perishable food, toiletries, and brand new clothing to people facing a temporary challenge. Whatever supermarkets, stores, and retailers can do is turned into a grateful donation to a neighbour in need. This is a response to real people in real-time. No food is banked providing a direct in and out service. We believe if the food is stored then a person in need is not getting any food, hence we provide an instant response and instant impact service. Looprun has access to professional volunteers who carry out a confidential support service to people in need. From homeless shelters, hostels, sheltered housing, care homes, soup kitchens and schools. This is a non voucher, free and confidential service. This means Looprun can reach more people in need with food donations. Anyone that receives a Looprun bag of essential food items is sustained thus creating a loop cycle. Southampton Social Aid Group (SSAG) is a co-operative created for the benefit of the people of Southampton. Our Food Club is run by and for the benefit of our community. What is the Food Club? For a weekly fee of £3.50 or £5 one member of a household can become a member of our Food Club. Each member can choose 10 items of shopping a week from our available selection of food and household goods. Items vary week to week and include fresh fruit and vegetables, store cupboard essentials, toiletries and household items. Please note we do not stock refrigerated or frozen items. Following consultation with our Food Club members we have agreed to also offer an option of £5 for 15 items. Ideal for those with larger households. We have three hubs from which The Food Club runs every: Monday between 11:30am and 1.30pm. Woolston & District Trades & Labour Club, 25 Leighton Road, Woolston, SO19 2FS. SSAG aims to be able to offer a range of services to the community. Our first service is our Food Club. We hope to build on this service according to the changing needs of the community. SSAG is based on the principles of solidarity not charity, participation not just consultation.

Our Cafe supports the community in every way we can. We are collecting and distributing food donations to those in need. Including all age groups and from all backgrounds. We aim to tackle poverty, food waste, improve both physical and mental wellbeing and provide a friendly, safe space for our community to come together and thrive. We also have a community food pantry, provide free activities and events, clothes sales, volunteering, training and employment opportunities for vulnerable individuals.
