How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Lidl has donated surplus food, money and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

ENCIRCLES' Mission: Feed the Homeless and Hungry in the Salisbury area.

Salisbury, UK

ENCIRCLES was established in April 2019 as a non-profit charity. What makes ENCIRCLES so SPECIAL is that it's administered and operated solely by volunteers and all the food is donated. The charity is set-up with a Board of Trustees providing oversight and direction to a team of Coordinators, with each Coordinator being responsible for one of the ENCIRCLES’ activities. These activities include: - Distributing food, each evening to the Street Homeless, our friends living in Supported Accommodation and even some of our friends who are experiencing financial concerns. The food is provided by the local companies of Salisbury which supply us with their hot and cold food at the end of each working day. While throughout the winter months, local Churches supply us with hot, filling soup. - Cooking, packaging and distributing a full Sunday Roast Takeaway meal and Family food Parcels. - Providing sleeping bags, clothing, sanitary products to those in need.

River Bourne Community Farm CIC

Salisbury, UK

River Bourne Community Farm was established in 2010 as a working farm for the whole community to enjoy. It is FREE to visit and has many animals to see and a cosy cafe and farm shop. Education and volunteering are the main focuses of the farm. Small groups of Primary and Secondary pupils come to the farm to learn about animal care and working on a farm. Many of them have additional needs such as autism and working outdoors is very beneficial to them. We generally have around 80 to 100 volunteers to help us on the farm doing everything from egg collecting, animal feeding, general maintenance, working the shop, helping at events and anything else we need! We couldnt do it without them! The farm holds events throughout the year for the community to enjoy, including our popular music event Live@TheFarm. See our website for more information about events.
