We offer free hot meals and a safe place for people who are homeless, lonely or in need. Open seven nights a week from 10pm to 8am during November to May Dinner served at 10.30pm, breakfast served at 7.am Summer opening 7pm to 10pm most nights (no overnights) An opportunity to respond to the increasing homeless issue and our response to support folk of all ages locally. We set up originally in 2015 as a winter project, since then the demand has been incredible and we daily feed around 25 customers and provide a warm, safe place to be. The cafe' is run totally through the generosity and investment in time of local supporters and a team of around 40 volunteers.

Zero Hunger is a community-led food movement dedicated to reducing food insecurity, preventing loneliness, and tackling food waste across Hart, Rushmoor, Basingstoke & Deane and surrounding areas. We provide access to quality surplus food through our community outreach venues, helping individuals and families facing financial hardship while also creating welcoming, safe spaces where people can connect and feel supported. Our work helps save tonnes of perfectly good food from going to waste each year and redistributes it directly back into the community. We currently serve between 400 to 500 people and week. Alongside food support, we actively promote wellbeing, inclusion, and community engagement through volunteer opportunities and local partnerships. Our volunteers — known as Food Heroes — are at the heart of everything we do and help us create a positive, non-judgemental environment for everyone who accesses our services. We are always grateful for support in the form of surplus food donations, volunteers, and community partnerships. Additional support allows us to expand our outreach, reach more vulnerable people, and continue building stronger, healthier communities where no one goes hungry or feels alone.

we are looking to deliver surplus food to single parent families in Bracknell and Camberley We have been successfully doing this since covid and still going, we also do Easter and Christmas What premises does your project operate from? We do not have a premises in Bracknell, we are a taxi service so pick up the food and deliver it straight to oujr service uses. We have a head office in Barnsley. How do you identify service users and their needs? We have referral forms for users to complete and we have over 50,000 members over our social pages and get feedback of what is needed. Are there any other services provided by your organisation other than food support? Yes a lot, I have attached a flyer Is there a charge for the service(s) provided by your organisation? ALL our services are free Do you currently collect surplus food from any other retailers? yes co-ops direct and we use fareshare. Has there been local press or similar that demonstrates your organisation's work in the local community? Not for Bracknell recently I dont think but will check. Would it be possible to provide photographs of work that your organisation does in the local community? Yes these can be provided and I will get back into thanking stores with pictures when we collect but when we are low on volunteers it is hard to do it all. Ypu can see we are collecting as I have had complaints via the volunteers with stores. I can send you our current list for Bracknell referrals? We work with Farnbrough Food bank via the trussell trust and share at sunningdale
