St Mellons Pantry (Hope St.mellons)
Cardiff, UK
With the cost of living going up we are seeing a rise in our numbers of people who use our services . We aim to try and give a minimum of 3 days of food help to each household who use our services weekly. We also have free item table set up for people to take and use each week. We try and help as many people as possible each week with free food and any donations would be greatly appreciated to help us to maintain the help we are able to give. We also provide a free warm safe space for our service users to use , do some crafts, have tea, coffee and cake (all provided free of charge) , charge up electrical items and have a chat to volunteers and other people. St Mellons Pantry's opening days are: Monday 12pm -2pm Tuesdays 10am-1pm Wednesday 10am-12pm Our aim is to help the local community through a variety of programmes: - Food pantry - Education/training - The prevention or relief of poverty - Religious activities - Children/young people - Elderly/old people - Other defined groups - The general public/mankind - Provides buildings/facilities/open space - Provides services - Provides advocacy/advice/information
