The shop is in the Brooklands area of Jaywick. It was set up to bring affordable food to the residents of Tendring. The food is sourced from local producers and supermarkets as well as charities, and sold at or below cost.

Jaywick Community Resource Centre is based in Brooklands in Jaywick, Essex. The Centre is home to many community groups helping support a wide variety of people. We also hold a weekly lunch club supporting some of our vulnerable and elderly local residents in reducing their social isolation. There are also various halls and rooms for hire for local events/groups.
