The Real Junk Food Project intercepts this perfectly edible food from local businesses and supermarkets before it is thrown away, turning it into healthy meals to serve to the community on a Pay as You Feel basis. The Pay As You Feel concept invites people to exchange not just their money, but ideas, time and creativity for a meal.

Impact Initiatives provides a voice, hope and change for Sussex people in need: supporting them to live healthy and fulfilling lives. For over 47 years' we have provided valuable services for adults, older people, children, young people, and families; demonstrating our commitment to fostering positive change and supporting those in need. Our Children, Young People and Families Services provide safe places for children and young people to live, learn and play. Our Adults and Older People Services improve life for adults with disabilities and older people.

The PTA are a registered charity led by parent and carer volunteers who fundraise to try and make up the shortfall in government funding. This enables us to pay for the very basic supplies that every child needs whilst enriching the lives of Elm Grove pupils. We are currently focusing our fundraising efforts to provide a free, accessible food pantry for all families to access within the school, we are also funding food parcels for some of our families so that the children have sufficient food for the weekend, as well as healthy snacks for those who are hungry and need it to get through the school day. We are looking to supermarkets and business to support our community food projects. We need food to stock our pantry, food parcels and healthy school snacks.
