The Salvation Army is a Community Church that puts people at the heart of its work. We provide Church services that welcome everyone and explain the Good News of Jesus' love to people of all ages in the local community. And we are also here to help in practical and tangible ways, by providing a regular programme of outreach for Seniors, and Carers and Toddlers, and the Community; a space for community groups to meet; safe space, food, and a listening ear for those experiencing loneliness or difficulties in their daily lives; assistance in just providing the basics for living; and advice and help for taking the next steps on life's journey.

A focal point for the community we have been serving the coastal town of Cromer for over 16 years. Our services range from employment support, housing and benfits advice, social support groups, learning & training opportunities and a volunteer hub. Our community fridge, freezer & larder regularly supports over 100 families. We are a non profit organisation, generating our income through grants, room hire, hot desk space and business service provision, any profit is reinvested into our community work. We are seeking assisitance with donations for our fridge, feezer and larder. We are working with other community fridges to build a network of food support across north Norfolk and are seeking donations of fresh, frozen, long life food, cleaning and sanitary products.

We are a large primary school in Norwich supporting a varied community. We would like to be able to support our families further through local organisations. We will use the food donated to provide food parcels to our most vulnerable families who may be choosing whether to eat or heat. We give the food parcels out directly from school. We identify our users through referrals from teachers, chats with parents and our own knowledge about families and their backgrounds. We also provide free second-hand school uniform to certain families and Christmas toys and hampers. We do not charge for our service.
