What we've received

The Beacon Church meets every Sunday at 12noon to provide a free hot nutritious to members of the local community. From our ALDI and Sainsbury’s Neighbourly collections on Saturday's we have a 'help yourself table' for people to take food home to use throughout the week. At 1pm we move into an informal service, but there is no obligation on anyone who stays for the meal to stay for the service.

We all want our children to have a good education and the PTFA aims to help by providing additional items that the school is unable to buy within the normal school budget. We raise funds which can be spent on equipment and resources to enhance the children's education and facilities at the school. Past events include Christmas and summer fayres, fashion shows and discos. Along with themed days and cake sales. As a school, we are seeing more families that are struggling financially and are in need of help through the food bank or help with benefits. Some of our most vulnerable families are finding that the cost of living is having a big impact on their weekly food budget. This is resulting in children skipping meals or relying solely on a hot meal at school. We would like to be able to give out regular food parcels to help them. Especially over weekends where children won't have access to a school meal.
