I work with young homeless people (and threatened with homelessness)within East Dunbartonshire. We are reaching out to companies to ask if they could offer any donations which we may be able to offer to our young people. Some of our young people are sofa surfing, and have no home of their own. Our young people are really struggling this year. So we have decided to run another Christmas Gift appeal. If there's anything you think you could donate, i.e toiletries, hats, scarfs, shower gel sets, hot water bottles, blankets, dry cupboard staples. We will add these in to gift bags. We are aiming to give out as many gift bags as possible. Last year we managed over 30 bags. So we aim to match, if not beat this target. So if there's anything you could help with, we know our young people would appreciate the thought. Thanks Project 101 Team

Welcome to Baird Memorial Early Years Support Unit, we are based within Condorrat, Cumbernauld. Our nursery caters for children 3-5 years old with additional support needs. We plan and implement a play-based sensory curriculum. We have three playrooms within the nursery; each room benefits from a high ratio of staff to support the needs of the children. All children attend nursery 9.15am-3.15pm, term time. We are looking to revamp our nursery garden by creating a painted mural, mud kitchen, water feature wall, plating stations, cosy den and a sensory touch tactile wall. We would be looking for various items to help us create a new and exciting garden for all of the children to explore such as, plants, seeds, paint, guttering, waste pipes, funnels, sand, soil, bark, torches, locks, switches, wallpaper, tarpaulin and paint brushed

As part of the SDG goals project we have been tasked to look at Zero Hunger by Education Scotland and ACS Clothing. We are looking to set up a Pantry in which people can pay 50p for 20 items of their choice. The pupils will lead this. They have already made contact with both Aldis and Lidls. The pupils spoke to the managers of both stores. Craig at Aldis and Colin at Lidls have looked at their rotas and have explained they both have spaces for food donations/pick ups. They both advised we contact Neighbourly explianing we have spoken to them. We are looking for the Pantry to be set up and running the week beginning 12 th of June.
