At Armadale Academy we believe that no child should go hungry, therefore our aim to to provide help and support for our students and families in the form of food sharing cupboard which will help parents to access food at short notice. For families in urgent circumstances a food parcel can be made up to meet the needs of individual families. Our family support workers work closely with families 52 weeks of and deliver various clubs/courses offering support in various forms.We are also in the process of setting up a cooking workshop for families to attend and up skill. With help from the neighbourly scheme we are able to continue to offer services to the Children and families with in our community.

Kidzeco is a social enterprise in West Lothian set up to benefit families in the community. We offer high quality pre-loved baby and children's goods at affordable prices through our shops in Bathgate and Livingston and our community space, Kidz n Kin, offers a welcoming environment for families to socialise, play and learn. During Covid-19 we introduced a family shop/community pantry to our Bathgate store for families with early years children. We have a wide range of fresh and ambient foods, cleaning products and toiletries. Families can sign up for our membership then shop with us at fantastic low prices.. We need donations of toiletries, clothes, pyjamas, nappies, wipes and of course food to help us support families during these unprecedented times.
