We are a group of local professionals from across the Sutton community who actively work together to plan, deliver and implement projects aimed at achieving positive outcomes for those who live, work and travel to the London Borough of Sutton. Our network draws on the experience, observations and combined expertise of its 30+ members including: Accountants, Analysts, Marketing Directors, Project Managers, Nurses, Social Workers, Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Transport Operatives and Ward Coordinators. We believe that the most effective way to deliver our projects is through partnership working, utilising existing resources to promote a strong and sustainable community culture. By combining our overall skill set with the resources of our partners we are able to deliver and implement new and inventive solutions to the evolving needs of our community. Our sole objective of the network is to support anyone in need, creating a truly inclusive environment.

Operation Love Thy Neighbour - FREE Hot Meal & Food Bank

Croydon, UK

Operation Love Thy Neighbour is an initiative of the Community Service Department at West Croydon Seventh-day Adventist Church. The FREE Hot Meal & Food Bank project takes place every Sunday between 1pm - 3pm at 45-49 Union Road, Croydon, CR0 2XU. The project helps in supporting families in the West Croydon community who may be struggling to feed themselves owing to various reasons such as redundancy, illness, benefit delay, domestic violence, debt and family breakdown & homelessness Food is donated by church members and local people (e.g. businesses and charities) and stored at the church. Volunteers sort and pack the food into food bags. A takeaway hot meal is also served is very beneficial for those who are homeless During the Covid-19 pandemic, we are also providing deliveries to people self-isolating at this time. Please note that we are open to receive donations every Saturday between 2pm-6pm. Any other day and time are welcome, but donors need to notify us in advance by emailing lovethyneighbour@westcroydonsda.uk We are grateful for all your donations which enable us to continue running Operation Love Thy Neighbour.

Christ People's Ministries International (Cpmi Church)

CPMI is a religious institution - specifically, a Pentecostal church which serves individuals and families of all ages, and from all backgrounds and races. we meet for services during the week and on Sundays for prayers, worship, fellowship and to study the bible. We also make financial and non-financial contributions to other churches, ministries and individuals (members & non-members). We support the community at large by undertaking various outreach activities including foodbank and pastoral counselling. During this Covid-19 crisis we have increased our offerings to include food parcel, prescription and shopping delivery as well as a befriending telephone service to meet the demands of those in need in the community. We operate from 92a Parchmore Road, Thornton Heath. CR7 8LX The service users are normally directed by the Crisis organization, Job Centre and Croydon Family Support Team. We also identify service users that come to our organization to tell us their situation. We do not charge for the services provided by our organization.
