How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Lidl has donated surplus food, money and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

ICSS is a small, grassroots, 100% volunteer-run registered charity operating since 2004. We are a passionate group of volunteers helping children from vulnerable groups, such as refugees and children affected by domestic violence in East London, achieve their full potential through education, and in time, they can understand the value of giving back to society. We also operate a food bank serving referred families, providing food and other essentials.

Your Place

London, UK

Your Place is a charity dedicated to solving homelessness in east London, one person at a time. We’re here to offer hope, a home and a healing place to grow, where people who’ve lost their homes can get the individual support they need within a safe, caring community. We work closely with each person who comes through our doors, guiding them to meet their own needs through one-to-one and peer-led support. With specialist teams and a compassionate community around them, residents make their own journey to independent living — and to a better place. Your Place is based in the East London borough of Newham, which has the highest levels of homelessness in the country. The demand on our services is increasing, and each year, we support hundreds of individuals on their journey away from homelessness for good through accommodation, personalised support related to education and training, health and wellbeing, employability, budgeting and securing and sustaining a tenancy. "Your Place is more than just a roof over my head; it's a community that has given me hope, support, and a chance to start a new chapter in my life." - Halima
