Our unwavering commitment is to provide indispensable support to disabled individuals, disadvantaged youth, and marginalised populations. Central to our approach is alternative education, harnessing the latest research on neuroplasticity to instigate positive behaviour change and cater to students who may have encountered challenges in traditional classrooms. In addition to our pioneering educational initiatives, we also operate a food bank and foster a warm, inclusive space for forming meaningful connections among individuals. Our mental health services, thoughtfully designed to cater to those facing mental health challenges, are readily available to those in need. We take immense pride in our work with deprived young people in our area, offering them transformative avenues to channel their energies, ultimately reducing the risk of offending and antisocial behaviour. A diverse range of programs, encompassing wellness activities, ensures that they remain healthy, engaged, and inspired to reach their full potential. At Foundation For Good, we are passionately dedicated to making a profound and positive impact in the lives of those who need it most. Our effectiveness thrives on the foundation of robust partnerships with various stakeholders, including the police, antisocial behaviour team, over 15 schools, and Derwentside social prescribers. High Spen Social Action CIC is a community-driven initiative focused on supporting residents in High Spen, particularly those facing food insecurity. They collaborate with local organisations to provide food assistance and promote community well-being. To run our social supermarket, we need access to surplus food.
