Bradford Central Foodbank fed over 16,000 local people last year in food crisis by providing three days' emergency food and support and advice. Everyone who comes to us is referred by an organisation who is in contact with people so we know everyone who comes to us is hungry and in need of emergency food. Organisations such as social services, schools, doctors, charities, housing associations etc. We give emegency food parcels, we have a cafe and also we want to provide peple with hplistic advice so people can overcome the root cause of food crisis. We provide fuel grants, SIM cards, benefits advice, job coaching, DWP support, family legal advice, housing support. All our services are offered free of charge. We need all year round help with fundraising, either as a one-off event or on an ongoing basis - we always need funds to help cover food purchasing and operating costs. We rely on volunteers to deliver this service and regularly need extra help with the following activities: -warehouse sorting -parcel/hamper packing -supermarket collections -one off projects

Inn Churches provides practical support to those who need it most across Bradford. We work with over 100 other community groups and organisations to ensure that nobody is left without shelter, food or warmth. As well as our original Winter Shelter, our Welfare Hub provides starter packs for individuals moving off the streets into their first tenancy, as well as supporting people with white goods, furniture, carpets and other items through the Acts435 crowdfunding donations site, and with duvets and food through the Warm Homes Healthy People partnership. Our Food Hub tackles food poverty and food waste by intercepting surplus and unwanted food from partners across Bradford, sorting and storing it, and redistributing it to people in need, primarily through our FoodSavers network of pop-up pantries and social supermarkets. Our Cooking Hub aims to empower, educate and inspire as many people as possible to cook great-tasting healthy food for themselves and their families, helping them to understand healthy eating, food safety in the kitchen, a range of different cooking methods and how to improve their cooking skills - all whilst having fun and meeting new friends. FoodSavers offers high quality fresh and store cupboard food for a low weekly membership fee at locations across Bradford. Much of our food is unwanted or surplus food, intercepted from being wasted. Membership also gives you the opportunity to attend cookery classes, save in a recognised Credit Union scheme, and enjoy other benefits, dependent on location. At our Storehouse warehouse we sort, store and redistribute surplus food to people in need through our FoodSavers projects and other partner community groups to enable everyone to access affordable, healthy food.

As a charity we provide emotional and spiritual support, advice, resources and services to those affected by various social and economic circumstances. We do this in many ways through support groups, empowering conferences and seminars as well as social activities that benefit the community. We have several families and individuals whom we support with food parcels every week in the local community including those who attend our community centre support groups. In recent times due to the Pandemic, we have seen a great increase in demand for food parcels and we have been delivering these to the community when they cannot come to collect them from the building. We also offer a take away cooked lunch on a Sunday afternoon.
