As an award winning, specialist by and for Black and minoritised community national charity, our vision is to eliminate forced marriage, honour-based abuse and female genital mutilation within society. To change attitudes and beliefs for future generations to break the cycle of abuse and to empower victims and survivors to make their own choices. The Halo Project was established in 2011 in response to a gap in service provision, for Black and minoritised women and girls experiencing or at risk of domestic and sexual abuse and violence. Since launch we are proud to have supported over 3000 women from over 49 different ethnicities, we have helped them to move from a situation of untenable violence to a life free from abuse. The Halo Project strive to support survivors through their programmes to ensure survivors are believed, protected, supported and empowered to live independent and fulfilled lives.

We are a community based charity that runs activity groups for Ladies out of The Hartlepools MenShed in Osbourne Rd & The Central Communities Hub (the main library in York Rd, Hartlepool).. But we have worked along side Hartlepool Food Network for the last 6yrs picking up & helping to distribute food parcels to the wider community. We have established good working relationships with the likes of Bookers, M & S (Marina) and Lidls to name a few. All of the distributors know if they get let down by other collectors they can phone our volunteers personally and we will go and collect ASAP. Hartlepool Food Network closed at the end of March 2025, but the community still has needs. We love filling that gap to preserve the good bonds between distributors and the communities needs. We distribute to St Aidens Church who does breakfasts & soup kitchens, a warm & friendly safe place for the lonely or families who maybe struggling. We've just started helping St Columbus. We help the families of the ladies who attend our groups. 1 of our volunteers had been distributing to Cornerstones, homeless charity who is hoping to open their own account with Neighbourly with the help of Jason who no longer distributes with us at My Time Social Hubs. We are also known to people if they are struggling drop us a message on Facebook and we'll see what we can do to help ☺️

Looprun is a response division and part of an independent social enterprise. This is more than food and is part of a supportive services platform to help people get sustained in their own individual way. With up to 94% success rate and seeing once those receiving free Looprun response bags to returning to stores as shoppers with baskets full. These are the impact stories created when all come together to do good for good. Service users are signposted to Looprun mostly from referrals including professionals in social and healthcare. Looprun provides free non perishables, perishable food, toiletries, and brand new clothing to people facing a temporary challenge. Whatever supermarkets, stores, and retailers can do is turned into a grateful donation to a neighbour in need. This is a response to real people in real-time. No food is banked providing a direct in and out service. We believe if the food is stored then a person in need is not getting any food, hence we provide an instant response and instant impact service. Looprun has access to professional volunteers who carry out a confidential support service to people in need. From homeless shelters, hostels, sheltered housing, care homes, soup kitchens and schools. This is a non voucher, free and confidential service. This means Looprun can reach more people in need with food donations. Anyone that receives a Looprun bag of essential food items is sustained thus creating a loop cycle.
