Our project supports young mothers (typically under 25) and their babies who are often experiencing vulnerability, housing instability, or complex personal challenges. Many of the young people we work with may have experienced care system involvement, homelessness, family breakdown, domestic abuse, or mental health difficulties.

We offer support to women against domestic abuse (victims and survivors). We support women in Gloucestershire and areas across England & Wales. Our mission is to be the voice for women who have suffered from domestic abuse by empowering, giving confidence while supporting their domestic abuse recovery. We are all experts by experience Our support considers all aspects of a person’s life, including physical, emotional, social, and mental wellbeing. We work together with individuals, their families, and other professionals to create a comprehensive support plan. We offer a range of programs both face to face and online : 1. Building resilience 2. Wellbeing programme 3. Domestic abuse recovery 4. Advocacy Support/Signposting 5. Emergency Support 6. Building Confidence 7. Emotional Support Programme 8. Family approach programme These programmes are survivor centric and focussed on helping women break the cycle of abuse by prioritising their wellbeing, building confidence and offering them opportunities to express themselves. Next spring, we will have a new programme for children and young people called Domestic Abuse, Recovering Together (DART), through DART, children and mothers can talk to each other about domestic abuse, learn to communicate and rebuild their relationship.

The Brockworth community centre is base in Court Road Brockworth GL34ET we have a face book page and a WhatsApp page and poster in doctors surgeries. and the local schools can refer for food parcels to. Service users can refer them self for food and hygiene products when available. to help people living in the community to have access to food that they cannot afford to buy, this maybe because they are living on benefits etc, they may have been furloughed due to the pandemic, or lost there jobs, Also to help single parents and pensioners who are also finding it hard to budget. we will be reaching out into four areas ,Cooper edge, Hucclecote and Barnwood. I am just setting up the food bank and hope to collate surplus food from other retailers I work on my own but team up with another food bank innsworthungrynomore@yahoo.com for deals and support.
