- Education/training - Children/young people Cylch Meithrin Nefyn is a Welsh-speaking center for children from two years old to school age, using learning through play and the Curriculum for Wales. It aims to provide affordable childcare to parents and guardians within the local community. The charity provides a balanced afternoon snack to all children in attendance at the Cylch, at no additional cost, prepared and distributed by the nursery staff.

We support people who are experiencing or recovering from mental health problems, who often find it difficult to motivate themselves to plan and prepare nutritious meals at home. Through their participation in the Lunch Club, beneficiaries have access to balanced meals and learn how to plan and prepare simple meals on a budget. The social aspect of the Lunch Club also has many other benefits as those people who live alone get the opportunity to socialise and make new friends - improving their general wellbeing. Participants have the opportunity to gain Level 2 Food Hygiene certificates, and learn basic cooking skills.

Banc Bwyd Pwllheli Food Bank is an independently run food bank that operates from St Peter's Church in Pwllheli every Tuesday and Friday between 2 and 3pm. A three day emergency food supply is given out to individuals and families that have been referred to us by the professional agencies that deal with poverty, homelessness and crisis. We are completely self funded from donations, be it food, financial donations and our own fund raising efforts. The food bank is run by volunteers.
