Our mission is to ensure that no one in our community goes to bed hungry by providing food aid, relief goods, and comprehensive support services. We strive to address the immediate needs of our beneficiaries while working towards long-term solutions to eradicate food poverty. Our Services: 1. Weekly Food Distribution: - We distribute food parcels every week to individuals and families in need. These parcels include a variety of non-perishable food items, fresh produce, and personal care products. Each food parcel is designed to provide balanced nutrition and support for those facing food insecurity. 2. Emergency Food Assistance: - We offer emergency food assistance to those experiencing sudden or acute food shortages. This service ensures that no one in our community faces hunger due to unforeseen circumstances such as job loss, medical emergencies, or other crises. 3. Nutritional Education Workshops: - Our workshops educate beneficiaries on healthy eating habits, meal planning, and budgeting for groceries. By empowering individuals with knowledge, we help them make healthier food choices and stretch their resources further. 4. Bespoke Support Services: - We provide tailored support to meet the unique needs of each household. We deliver sports and arts programmes in collaboration with young people, to Support them in their learning, develop their employability and help them to Progress. We are a community interest company based in Bolton, working with young people aged between 7 and 25, living in and around Great Lever. We want to make Bolton a great place to grow up. Our Vision We will identify the potential in children & young people, develop it and create opportunities to help them succeed in life. Young people will increase their skills, aspirations and confidence as a result of participating in Believe & Achieve programmes. Our Mission We encourage young people to be the best they can be by providing innovative activities, unique experiences and high-quality enterprise programmes. We understand the importance of supporting young people to meet their full potential while providing a safe place with friendly faces to talk to. Free School Meal Campaign: According to the current Bolton council statistics, rates of children living in poverty and accessing free school meals around Bolton are higher than the national average. Current England statistics shows that 3 million children in the UK are at risk of going hungry during the school holidays With the loss of free school meals given out during term time, in addition to the extra childcare costs around the holidays, families already struggling with low budgets find it difficult to feed their children. This inspired an activist Marcus Rashford MBE an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team to launch Free School Meal during half term campaign. To Support Marcus Rashford Free Meal Campaign, Believe & Achieve C.I.C currently support to pay for children school meal subject to eligibilities. Since 25th of October 2020, we have helped over 800 by providing Free food. This numbers are still growing very fast Greater Manchester has one of the highest rates of child poverty by local authority area with 35.5% of children under 16 living in poverty. Of those living in poverty, the vast majority (69.4%) are living in out of work poverty.we provide and deliver emergency food and support to people locked in poverty, we also campaign for change
