Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.
Through Neighbourly, Lidl has donated surplus food, money and products, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.
Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.
Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.
Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.
Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

We are looking to create a mindful safe space for students to use when they need some time out in a calm, peaceful space. We also are looking into using the space to aid education across various subjects within our setting to ensure we are fully embracing our green spaces. Exploring both plant and animal life in our green spaces and doing our bit for climate change will also fit into our brief. Our school are also looking to create a beautiful orchard to allow us to become more sustainable as well as increasing the proportion of woodland/forest area on site. As well as this we are always looking at ways to further support our school and local community. We offer a breakfast club on site every morning but are always looking at ways to support those students and their families who are struggling. We are aware some schools have started their own internal foodbank type setups and it would be great to have our own Grove based support that we could tailor to those students and families that need it the most.

Market Drayton Sustainable Communities CIC is a non profit organisation set up to promote and resource Sustainable living in the Market Drayton Area. One of our projects will be to distribute surplus food to the local community to prevent food waste. We will distribute the food via regular food share tables under the buttercross in the centre of the town. There will be no direct xharge for this but we will ask for a pay as you feel donations to support the running costs. We will also utilise our close working relationship with other partner organisations to distribute food should we receive larger quantities, eg fruit for schools and nursing homes. Whilst the project is open to all to prevent food waste we will target those groups of people who are on the breadline but miss out on support from the local foodbank. We are also opening a cafe and plan to utilise foodwaste to create some exciting pay as you feel menu items, with any income made specifically used to fund redistribution of food waste, and food waste prevention projects. The wider project will be running workshops to cover various elements of sustainability, we hope to offer these free to the public via grant funding. These will include courses on cookery skills, make and repair skills, alongside specific sustainability skills.
