Abergele Community Shop has been developed by Abergele Community Action (registered charity number 1125169) with funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Aimed at helping people who are struggling with the increased cost of living or with a much lower level of disposable income, the Community Shop, which is based on Platform 1 (beach side) of Pensarn Station, will be a social supermarket with a difference. The Community Shop will redistribute food, consisting of high-quality products that have been supplied by FareShare. FareShare is the UK’s national network of charitable food re-distributors, made up of 18 independent organisations, taking good quality surplus food from right across the food industry and supplying frontline charities and community groups.

St Joseph’s Food Hub is run by volunteers from St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Colwyn Bay. We provide emergency food parcels, advice and a friendly face to all - no referral needed. Simply ring us on our dedicated Food Hub line - 07895446870

The object of the Housing First Anglesey Project is to work with people across the Isle of Anglesey/Ynys Mon. We help people look for affordable and suitable accommodation for those experiencing homelessness and then we support people back into accommodation and further support them to sustain their tenancy. We hope to create opportunities for people and no matter how many times someone comes to us for help we will listen, be empathetic and greet them with kindness. Everybody deserves to belong somewhere, we embrace partnership working and we strive for inclusion and acceptance of those affected by homelessness.
