Foodsave Honiton is a is community food parcel service and community fridge covering Honiton and the surrounding areas in East Devon. We work to ensure no useable food is put to waste within our local community, ensuring that those around us receive high-quality, free food without the stigma of referrals, quotas or financial questionnaires. Since opening in November 2020, we have grown to support approximately 300 households across the town every week. We operate as a branch of Foodsave CIC, a not-for-profit food redistribution service operating community food parcel services, community larders and community fridges and freezers across the South West. Foodsave is one of the largest redistributors of surplus food outside of major cities in the South West, facilitating communities to create food waste reduction schemes tailored to their communities. Community Enterprises PL12 is a community interest company established in 2006, providing services that are dedicated to making the PL12 post code area of South East Cornwall a better place to live. Our aim is to provide economic and environmental improvements through a range of enterprises for the benefit of the local community. . CEPL12 is split into a number of different enterprises, each which provides something to the local community that would otherwise not be available, making a real difference for so many people in the local area. We are run by a team of dedicated volunteers and support staff. Our enterprises are : Community Fridge and Larder - we encourage local businesses and residents to share surplus food, allowing food that would otherwise have been wasted to be shared with local people. Transport - we provide subsidised community transport, including regular services and excursions The Hub No. 4 Fore Street - providing a retail outlet for local traders and crafters, enabling them to test their businesses without committing to long term contracts. Dementia Voice - our aim is to see the PL12 area become a place that is Dementia friendly and that promotes that living well with this disease is possible. 18 Belle View - we have renovated and manage this building on behalf of Cornwall County Council to subsidise our other properties and give rent free accommodation to the local Citizens Advice branch, and housing the Saltash Food Bank. Saltash Card - by negotiating discounts for our card holders with local traders for mutual benefit, we encourage local people to use our local shops and services. Belle Vue Project - we have remodelled a long closed public convenience into workshops for local crafters to use on a pop up basis.

The Pioneer Project CIC is a community interest company based in Barne Barton, Plymouth, working alongside local children, young people and families to build emotional safety, connection and opportunity. We’re rooted in the neighbourhood our staff and volunteers are local or have lived experience of the area and we take a trauma‑informed, practical approach that meets people where they are, with dignity and warmth. We run welcoming, low‑cost and free community activities that reduce isolation and strengthen relationships. This includes our Community Café and Compassion Café, a Food Larder, Forest School sessions for children (including specialist support), community cinema, cooking sessions for parents and children, and community fundays that bring hundreds of local families together. We also support adults through community-based groups and activities that help people reconnect, build confidence and feel part of something positive. We help people who are feeling the pressure of rising costs, loneliness, bereavement, poor mental health, and the ongoing impact of trauma. Many of the families we support are juggling multiple challenges, and what often makes the biggest difference is consistent, friendly support and a place they can rely on week after week. The support we need most is surplus food and essential household items to help keep our café and food larder running, plus volunteers who can give a few hours regularly (or occasionally) to help with food sorting, café support, setting up sessions, and practical tasks. We’re also keen to hear from volunteers with skills in fundraising, marketing, admin, who can help us grow sustainably and care for our community spaces.
