Betel UK is dedicated to making a difference in people's lives, our heart and passion is to restore people's lives from homelessness and to help fight addiction. Betel UK is based in Birmingham and has centers all over the UK. It's a non-profit organization, which is devoted to making a difference within the Birmingham community. We provide the highest quality programmes that benefit all residents in Birmingham and surrounding areas. Betel UK is dedicated to returning homeless, addicted and long-term unemployed people to healthy, independent lifestyles. Our residences provide help and hope to around 350 recovering people. We train men and women in a wide range of life and employment skills, equipping them to build a stable and productive future. All of our residences are drug-and alcohol-free and totally free of charge. We offer the opportunity of restoration to all persons who seek help, regardless of financial means. We house around 150 men and women within our centres in Birmingham alone. As a non-profit organization, we have very limited financial resources. Any help is is greatly appreciated as it goes a long way in enabling these peoples lives. Northfield Arts Forum is a charity based in Northfield, Birmingham. We use the arts to benefit local people and create a better sense of community within Northfield. Throughout the week we hold a host of events open to the local community to come together to socialise, lower the risk of isolation and support those in need throughout the community. WEEKLY ACTIVITIES NAF SHOP - Northfield Shopping Centre Our arts and community hub at the heart of our constituency. Open throughout the week. NAF CAF - Northfield Baptist Church - Thursday evenings A community cafe with a pay-as-you-feel meal, hot drinks, art activities and a free a'capella choir. We provide surplus food through neighbourly from Aldi in Northfield. Northfield Community Garden - Sir Herbert Austin Way - Friday Morning A community garden built on a car park and looked after by local volunteers. We offer therapeutic opportunities to take part, sit, make and socialise. All activities are advertised on Facebook and can change from week to week.

FoodCycle runs volunteer-powered community projects across the UK – all working to reduce food poverty and social isolation by serving tasty, nutritious meals to vulnerable people. Since we started cooking in May 2009, our incredible volunteers have served over 125,000 meals made using over 146,000kg of surplus food – the equivalent saving of 657,000kg CO2 emissions.
