So we rescue food that is gonna go in the bin and help local people that are struggling and vulnerable people we make up little care bags we do what we can for our community. We’re just hoping to get a little bit more help if you feel like you can help our little community cupboard please get in touch as we have so many families that are in need at the moment in our little community. I’ve received so many wonderful messages from families from older people saying how they appreciate the cupboard so much and that it has really helped them out and it would be such a shame to lose it as they have become reliant on it with day-to-day being so expensive

We run two family centres in Blackpool providing volunteering opportunities. We provide free family meals, family breakfast on Saturday,we do a Sunday lunch once a month. We have a kids club on a Monday. Our volunteer ms donate three hours of there time and this gains them 12 points which they can spend in the pantry. We raise people confidence through our volunteering opportunities and offer the chance to lean new skills which increase a persons health and wellbeing

The foodbank was established to provide short term, emergency food to individuals and families in crisis.Our food parcels include cereal, milk, fruit juice, soup, pasta, meat, fish, vegetables and pudding, providing balanced nutritional meals for a minimum of three days. The quantity of food given is dependent upon the number of adults and children in the family. Referral is by way of a voucher system from local organisations assessed to be in financial crisis. We are part of The Trussell Trust network of foodbanks.
