We offer emergency food (3 days supply) to those in need. People are referred to the food-bank by partner organisations - we currently have over 100 voucher holders. Some people attend the food-bank with out being referred, because they do not know how to access a voucher. At the moment, we're developing our services in all the food-banks, to enable people to receive holistic support and advice from qualified advisers such as CAB and Dept. Advisers. The food-bank is a St Leoanards Youth & Community Project. St Leoanards have lots of projects. Poppies is a programme for the elderly. We also run youth opportunities, jobs clubs, community lunch and brownies.

Lumi Place CIC is a company based in New Ferry Wirral that is dedicated to helping the community. We are actively involved in fighting food, hygiene, and period poverty. We are operating from own shop premises located in New Ferry Precinct, where we providing FREE OF CHARGE all surplus we do have available. With our efforts, we aim to make a positive impact and improve the lives of those in need. Lumi Place CIC is committed to providing support, resources, and assistance to individuals and families facing these challenges. Through our initiatives, we are strive to create a more inclusive and equitable society for everyone in the community. We serve community by providing food surplus (when available) to every member of public, we also delivering any surplus and hygiene products to homeless shelters like Rosebrae and The Bridge in Birkenhead. We also provide help to local Primary School where we redistributing food surplus, children hygiene products and feminine hygiene products. Our little sister department PePo Bank who fight period poverty supplying any feminine hygiene products to local companies and offices to help woman in need or poverty go through their difficult days. We are proud that within our community we have all spectrum of users. Our youngest users are just tern 18 and they struggling with finance wellbeing so we can provide for them food, household items, clothes , hygiene products and much more. The oldest user of ours is 96 years old and she depending on our food donations. Other elderly members are 70 - 90 years old and they using us for getting food surplus, help in little house repairs and also in what is most important company, so their can talk to someone. We also proudly helping to Ukrainian War refugees living in our community. Lumi Place is helping Community of New Ferry to get back to the state like before 2017 when huge gas explosion put this place and its community in depravation state.

Walton Youth & Community Project is a registered charity that works with children, young people, their families and the broader community in Walton, North Liverpool. We are a grassroots organisation that provides a localised needs-led provision that evolves in the reflection of community needs. We have been a registered charity since 1994 as Walton Youth Project; initially established in 1960 as Walton Youth Centre, now known as Walton Youth & Community Project to reflect the work undertaken. WYCP aims to engage Children, young people, their parents, families and the wider community in positive activities. We do this by • Engaging with young people and families to offer support and opportunities. • Establishing and developing meaningful relationships. • Encouraging young people to have positive aspirations. • Ensuring we are an inclusive service, free from prejudice and discrimination. • Enabling active youth and community participation to shape our project. • Ensuring we are open at times young people need. Our mission is to provide a bustling hub of community activity involving people of all ages, centred upon strong values, good educational content and most of all, fun. Activities that we offer are: • Youth Clubs for 8-19 years old, a chance to participate in developmental activities. • Targeted Support– offers one-to-one, group work. Therapeutic interventions and support sessions at the point of need. • Detached Youth Work engaging socially excluded young people on their territory. • Mobile Youth Bus Provision working with all community members to take our activities into the community, using streets, parks and open spaces, to prevent social issues from arising. • Support Project – offers one-to-one and group work support sessions at the point of need. • Together Tuesday is an initiative to reduce food poverty in the local community. • Community Engagement – Offers members of the community access to support to our services such as coffee mornings, awareness training, employability and empowerment. • Volunteering Project is a peer mentoring project delivered by young people, for young people. • Negotiated Education Programme providing socially and educationally excluded young people.
