At EATS Rosyth in Fife, we grow, eat and share food! EATS Hub usually works to share surplus food and deliver community meals on a pay as you feel basis, however during the COVID crisis we have switched to providing emergency food parcels by home delivery or collection. Please support us by donating what you can. We use food grown locally at EATS Community Garden and Centenary Orchard - come and visit and see how you can get involved in our growing project! We work hard to reduce food waste and all it’s associated carbon emissions to protect the environment.. EATS Rosyth provides a range of community services including: • Surplus food distribution and community larder • Affordable meals and community café provision • Community gardening and growing projects • Volunteer opportunities and employability support • Wellbeing and social inclusion activities • Community events and workshops • Food education and cooking activities • Partnership support for local residents and groups Our fundraising activities help us keep up with store cupboard basics for our cooking and for other materials and equipment we need to continue our project. Greener Kirkcaldy is a community-led charity and development trust working locally to benefit people and our environment. We would like to see a future where everybody is able to heat their home affordably, eat well, and tread more lightly on our planet. We work towards that by delivering projects to meet the needs and aspirations of local people: tackling fuel and food poverty, protecting and enjoying the environment, and bringing the community together. Our Community Fridge redistributes good quality surplus food from businesses and individuals. We receive donations from local businesses, organisations, and individuals. Anyone is welcome to come and take food from the fridge.

The Hive Kirkcaldy is a community hub based in Kirkcaldy in Fife. We offer a number of different services to the local community including minority groups. We offer a number if different services to the homeless community, including but not restricted to - A community pantry and fridge - A clothing bank offering new and used items - A cafe offering free hot drinks and a pay it forward scheme where people can purchase meals for those in need - Peer support allowing people to chat and share feelings - Public access laptops and free WIFI allowing people to have access to the internet with support from volunteers - Advocacy - a voice for people who need one, we can attend appointments with people who require it - Community partners who attend The Hive can offer additional support such as cosy kingdom, homelessness organisations, addiction services, citizens advice and more. - Warm space - A place where people can come and socialise and stay warm throughout the day until 8pm without the need to purchase anything at all helping to reduce isolation.
