Clonmel Community Resource Centre " Family Support and Social Enterprise in the Community for the Community" Clonmel Community Resource Centre is a registered charity RCN 20032722 and a company limited by guarantee CRO 246862. It is governed by a voluntary Board of Management and has been open since 1996. It provides a valuable resource to the community and has delivered many projects over the years.Supporting children and families have remained a large part of its core values since inception. There is a large, full time community based Early Years and After School facility "Tots 2 Teens" for children from 6 months to 12 years led by a dedicated team of Early Years professionals. Clonmel Community Resource Centre currently delivers the following projects:- Family Support Service on behalf of TUSLA - Child and Family Agency Social Prescribing, Healthy Food Made Easy Programme, and We can Quit (stop smoking Support) - on behalf of HSE Slaintecare Healthy Communities Food donations (as charity partners of Neighbourly UK and Food Cloud Ireland) Play therapy Infant Mental Health Clonmel Community Resource Centre's food supports currently benefit approximately 83 individuals per week with enough fresh, frozen and staple dry food for 4 meals weekly. This equates to an average of 12500 meals annually. This is largely achieved by the commitment to 3 weekly collections from M&S Clonmel via Neighbourly with grateful thanks! THe Bank of Ireland " Cost of Living" grant awarded via the Community Foundation for Ireland enabled us to create a stock of staple foods to supplement donations of fresh foods when they vary in supply Our enrolled clients who are experiencing food poverty greatly value the service they receive.

Pieta House has become a respected and recognised service for those who are suicidal. Having counselled many people in the past who were self-harming, our founder realised that this was a topic never discussed and rarely understood, and decided to also help people with this debilitating issue. From humble beginnings, Pieta House has grown to almost 180 therapists and administration staff, and the demand for our service hasn’t let up. As it has been from day one, everything is free of charge. Our staff are fully qualified and offer a professional one-to-one therapeutic service for people who are experiencing suicidal ideation, people who have attempted suicide and people who are engaging in self-harm. We’re passionate about our life-saving work. As 90% of our income comes from fundraising events, we are very grateful for the support and encouragement of our volunteers and friends of Pieta.

Cuan Saor (Safe Haven) was established in 1994 to offer support to women who were experiencing domestic violence. In 1995 a Freephone helpline was launched and in 2000 a large centrally located building was renovated and opened its doors as a Refuge in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. The refuge provides short term crisis accommodation for women and children fleeing domestic violence Our Vision - Cuan Saor has a vision of a society which respects the human rights of women and children to live violence free Our Mission - Cuan Saor’s mission is to support all women and children who have experienced domestic violence
