M&S Castleford Outlet

We are a day centre for adults with disabilities ranging from learning disabilities, Autism, down syndrome, epilepsy, diabetes & heart problems. The centre is open Monday to friday 9.30am to 3pm offering varied activites, life skills, foundation education and well being programmes. We would like suport with food surplus, charity donations, volunteering & grants to help maintain the safety and comfort of the building. There is a charge to attend the centre which is mainly funded by the local govermentment but service users do have to pay a top up amount which is decided by the local goverment. The food donations we receive are used to cook the meals we provide at the centre to keep the cost down for the service users. We put shows together with the service users and they go out to local care homes to showcase these. We do currently collect food from Fareshare & Bookers.

GIPSIL works with children, young people and families from disadvantaged areas of Leeds through a variety of services and support. These include work in schools, housing and employment advice, construction and enterprise support, The Beck Wellbeing Services and Young People at Archway. We run out of The Old Fire Station in Gipton, Leeds. We always appreciate support of our local community to continue providing a high level of services to the people we help.
