The Real Junk Food Project intercepts this perfectly edible food from local businesses and supermarkets before it is thrown away, turning it into healthy meals to serve to the community on a Pay as You Feel basis. The Pay As You Feel concept invites people to exchange not just their money, but ideas, time and creativity for a meal.

Havens Food Cooperative - Havens Connections Cafe - Havens Community Hub Rescuing and redistributing over 3 tonnes of perishable food per week and preventing landfill waste and the creation of more unwanted greenhouse gasses and supporting over 600 people. Operating two hotbin composting pods to create soil for gardeners who then give back surplus grown goods. Providing waste salad for local smallholding farmers who, in turn, donate goods to the community pantry. "Fighting Waste, Feeding Communities" Partnered with Havens Happy Club CIO - Providing activities for older people to prevent isolation and loneliness Partnered with Havens Community Cars CIO - a volunteer driver scheme We'll Find A Way...
