M&S Tamworth

The charity provides meeting facilities and volunteers in order to deliver educational and social facilities aimed at relieving poverty within the town of Tamworth and surrounding area. Having been a key participant in past years, Heart of Tamworth is taking the lead in providing the Winter Night. Shelter in Tamworth from December 2019 to the end of February 2020. The HoT Community Pantry tackles food poverty by making a wide range of fresh, frozen and ambient food available to those who are struggling with the cost of living. No referral from a third-party is required. The pantry is open weekdays (10am-3pm) and a warm welcome awaits. Surplus donations from Neighbourly are redistributed via our community pantry.

We are a Care Farm based on an Alpaca Farm in Warwickshire. We care for children who are not allowed in mainstream education. Lucky Tails CIC provides a place of learning that involves practical skills and problem solving in everyday farming tasks. We need help building our relaxation rabbit village that will be used to help calm and improve children's confidence skills. We need materials such as wood, wire, nails and slabs.

We are a not for profit community group within Baddesley Ensor and Grendon. North Warwickshire. We hold events during the year to include a summer event party ( non charging). Christmas panto, ( subsided) Christmas lantern walk, xmas light around the village. With the Aldi donations we collect and distribute them around the villages for the elderly and those in need. We drop off at Penmire and hunters Park ( older peoples bungalows) alongside over 30 other households. At dropping off times we liase with the people to see if all is OK and if we can help in any other way with errands etc. We do not store foods , as we pick up mainly fruit and vegetables these are distributed directly from our vehicle on the same day as pick up.. All this is done free of charge with all costs for time, fuel and distribution bags being absorbed by the collectors.
