M&S Sutton Coldfield

Sutton Coldfield YMCA Purpose and Activities Over the last year, Sutton Coldfield YMCA has worked with over 650 young people per week across Erdington and Sutton Coldfield, encouraging & inspiring young people to reach their true potential. We run a various disability projects, a young carers project for the whole of North Birmingham, youth clubs, holiday programmes, play sessions, youth leadership courses, family support and a 42 bedded accommodation unit for you n people to move into.. Our services for young people with learning disabilities include specialist youth clubs and short breaks provision and for the past 12 years we have operated "K-Kats”, our disability youth club for young people aged 9-24yrs old.

We support over 13,500 disabled children, young people and their families every year by delivering over 120 services throughout England. KIDS is unique; there is no other organisation dedicated to providing such an extensive range of services to disabled children and young people, aged 0-25 years, irrespective of their impairment or condition. We'll be supported by our local M&S store in 2018/19 and look forward to a year long partnership filled with a variety of activities.

The Streetly Academy Children of Courage is a group that helps SEND and Looked After children as well as those who have suffered a recent bereavement or had a difficult year in other personal ways. We are raising money for them so that we can take them on a trip in the summer, as it is the only chance some of them get to have a day away. Throughout the year we are organising fundraisers at The Streetly Academy which will include a raffle and am looking for raffle prizes which we can use to help raise funds for the children. We would be hugely grateful for any donation you are able to make to help support our fundraising efforts. All donations will be properly thanked and acknowledged.
