Sufra is a charity in North West London that prevents hunger, fights poverty and builds community. With the help of our volunteers and partners, we coordinate a network of food banks, kitchens, a community shop and café. These act as a gateway for guests to access more holistic support – including welfare advice, asylum support and our award-winning community garden. We aim to work with our guests to find solutions to their challenges together, whilst campaigning against the causes of hunger and poverty.

Ansar Youth Project (AYP) is an exciting and innovative youth organisation which specialises in targeting young people from a diverse range of disadvantaged and marginalised communities in Brent and neighbouring boroughs. We are a pioneering organisation providing faith and culturally sensitive youth-work in our local communities. Our mission is to engage as many young people between the age of 11 and 17 in our specialised Youth Programme’s. We are completely young person led and removes all participation barriers. If we had to stop our services due to lack of support, over 1000 young people would no longer have access to youth services due to participation barriers. Over the past few years, AYP has been able to engage with over 2500 young people in North West London and are seeking to continue growing into wider parts of London. Ansar Youth Project for the last 10 years has successfully run the following projects engaging over 1,000 young people per annum. • Daily youth clubs with developmental workshops • Monthly Employment programmes • Run accredited workshops for young people • Enterprise Programmes • Peer Mentoring Programmes • Provide over 500 volunteer opportunities for young people a year • Provide teamwork and leadership opportunities for over 150 young people per year • Multi-sports sessions • IT/gaming club • Homework club/tutoring sessions • Day and Residential trips • Employment programmes The programme is run by a team of the young people from the management committee, the youth programme manage and youth workers/mentors. They have been successfully running the daily youth programmes from the centre engaging over 50-100 young people per week with over 1,000 young people engaged per annum. Many of the young people who currently attend our programmes come from disadvantaged backgrounds and need support overcoming issues they face. The young people who currently attend include: ● Young people in care ● Young people who have been abused ● Young people with autism, ADHD, learning difficulties and mental health issues ● Young people who self-harm ● Young people who are from low income backgrounds ● Young people who are being bullied ● Young people who are LGBT ● Young people from single parent homes ● Young people who are NEET ● Young offenders ● Young refugees ● Single Parents ● Young Carers

At Noah’s Ark we help babies, children and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions, and their families, make the most of every day. And we support those who die young to do so in as much comfort as possible, surrounded by family. We provide exceptional care, organise fun activities and days out, and help families do things they never thought possible. We are here to enable those we support to enjoy life as children, rather than as patients; as families, not just as carers. We serve communities across north and central London, as well as Herts Valley, working in partnership with key NHS trusts.
