River Bourne Community Farm was established in 2010 as a working farm for the whole community to enjoy. It is FREE to visit and has many animals to see and a cosy cafe and farm shop. Education and volunteering are the main focuses of the farm. Small groups of Primary and Secondary pupils come to the farm to learn about animal care and working on a farm. Many of them have additional needs such as autism and working outdoors is very beneficial to them. We generally have around 80 to 100 volunteers to help us on the farm doing everything from egg collecting, animal feeding, general maintenance, working the shop, helping at events and anything else we need! We couldnt do it without them! The farm holds events throughout the year for the community to enjoy, including our popular music event Live@TheFarm. Somewhere To Go is a rough sleeper drop in centre open 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 14:00. Those who are homeless are able to access: - Practical daily living support - some new and pre-loved clothing, new underwear, coats, and shoes. Sleeping bags, food vouchers (when additional funding allows), laundry facilities and washing powder, shower facilities with hygiene products, daily free hot meals, dog care items including food. The opportunity for social engagement, reducing social isolation. - Reducing the digital gap - mobile phones and pre-paid SIM cards (when additional funding allows), workshops to understand and navigate apps and websites in partnership with 3Mobile, access to IT equipment. - Health & Wellbeing - Dentaid every 3 months, stop smoking clinics on Fridays, BBV testing, Hep C clinic, and client awareness delivered by Turning Point. Naloxone training, clean syringes and sharps box, supporting harm reduction. Support with mental health wellbeing from Alabaré Riverside Sanctuary every Monday, providing an ongoing referral path. - Housing Support - Face-to-face support to access Wiltshire Council's Housing Service, and the Rough Sleeper Outreach Officer attends during the week.

We are a charity proving accommodation and support for women and children fleeing domestic abuse. We are grateful for donations of food, clothing, household goods, DIY products and home furnishings to support our residents during their stay and when they start afresh when they resettle.
