How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Marks & Spencer has donated money, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Community RePaint Sandwell and Soho

Birmingham, UK

Community RePaint Sandwell and Soho is run by Law Leisure and Learning. We accept paint offers from traders, retailers and manufacturers in our area so please contact us if you have leftover paint that you'd like to be reused in the community. Once the paint we have collected has been processed to ensure it is of a good quality, we sell the reusable paint in our shop Law and Leisure to community groups and individuals in the area, for just £1 - £2 a litre. If you'd like to purchase paint from us, please get in touch to find out more. Community RePaint Sandwell and Soho are part of the Community RePaint network, a national paint reuse network, sponsored by Dulux, that aims to collect leftover paint and redistribute it to benefit individuals, families, communities and charities in need. Our paint helps local groups and charities refresh shared spaces and create colourful murals for the community; enables people on low income to redecorate their homes affordably; and provides employment, training and volunteer opportunities building valuable skills and experience.

John Taylor Hospice

Birmingham, UK

John Taylor Hospice has been providing compassionate end of life palliative care to the most vulnerable in our community for more than 100 years. In 2011 we became independent of NHS, and more recently operate now as a charity. It costs £14,000 per day for John Taylor Hospice to provide its many caring services; we rely on the continued support and kindness of the community to ensure we deliver the best possible end of life care, tailored to all our patients’ individual needs and wishes. John Taylor Hospice’s vision for the future is to make ‘every moment matter’ for all those across Birmingham and Solihull, who require our special caring services. We take patients from all B postcodes. At John Taylor Hospice, we aim to give our supporters the same 'Taylor-made' experience our clinical colleagues deliver for the patients and families we care for. We believe every moment matters.

William Booth Centre Birmingham

Birmingham, UK

William Booth Centre strives to provide 'More than a Place to Stay' for those who come to us looking for safe accommodation and support to move into longer term appropriate accommodation. We receive some funding from the local authority. The generosity of the public allows us to provide those 'added extras' that will hopefully improve the quality of life for homeless people that stay with us.
