Believe Achieve creates opportunities for young people to be active and creative. We deliver sports and arts programmes in collaboration with young people, to Support them in their learning, develop their employability and help them to Progress. We are a community interest company based in Bolton, working with young people aged between 7 and 25, living in and around Great Lever. We want to make Bolton a great place to grow up. Our Vision We will identify the potential in children & young people, develop it and create opportunities to help them succeed in life. Young people will increase their skills, aspirations and confidence as a result of participating in Believe & Achieve programmes. Our Mission We encourage young people to be the best they can be by providing innovative activities, unique experiences and high-quality enterprise programmes. We understand the importance of supporting young people to meet their full potential while providing a safe place with friendly faces to talk to. We deliver services which include detached youth work, group and one to one mentoring to help them become valued members of the community. “Believe in yourself & Achieve your dream.” Our Value True potential is achieved when we all demonstrate mutual respect, trust and love for ourselves and each other. This value is true regardless of culture, ethnicity, or religion. We believe in working with other organisations and individuals that share our goals and vision for young people. Working in partnership will help us to reach and inspire more young people to make positive lifestyle choices. Free School Meal Campaign: According to the current Bolton council statistics, rates of children living in poverty and accessing free school meals around Bolton are higher than the national average. Current England statistics shows that 3 million children in the UK are at risk of going hungry during the school holidays With the loss of free school meals given out during term time, in addition to the extra childcare costs around the holidays, families already struggling with low budgets find it difficult to feed their children. This inspired an activist Marcus Rashford MBE an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team to launch Free School Meal during half term campaign. To Support Marcus Rashford Free Meal Campaign, Believe & Achieve C.I.C currently support to pay for children school meal subject to eligibilities. Since 25th of October 2020, we have helped over 800 by providing Free food. This numbers are still growing very fast Greater Manchester has one of the highest rates of child poverty by local authority area with 35.5% of children under 16 living in poverty. Of those living in poverty, the vast majority (69.4%) are living in out of work poverty.we provide and deliver emergency food and support to people locked in poverty, we also campaign for change

The objects of the CIO are: 3.1. The Relief of Children and Young People: To relieve children and young people aged 0-18 residing in Greater Manchester and the North West, or any other UK location with similar needs, who are in need by reason of their youth, ill-health, disability, financial hardship, or other disadvantage. 3 .2. Emotional Well-being and Development: To promote and support their emotional well-being, building resilience to overcome life challenges, and enhancing their capacity to manage social relationships at home, school, and within their communities 3.3. Support for Families: To provide grants and support to families of children and young people who are in need due to their youth, ill-health, disability, financial hardship, or other disadvantage. 3.4. Provision of Services: To provide practical support, advice, guidance, and access to enriching experiences that facilitate social learning and the development of new skills among children and young people. 3.5. Specific Services: In particular, but not exclusively, the charity will provide a range of activities, including therapeutic adventures, residential projects, individual mentoring support, and group-based activities that promote emotional resilience and life skills development. 3.6. Definitions: - Children and Young People: Individuals aged 0-18 (Support may be extended to the families of children and young people when it primarily benefits a specific child or young person within the family). - Geographic Scope: Greater Manchester and the North West, including any counties sharing a boundary with a Greater Manchester town, namely Lancashire, Cheshire, Cumbria, and Merseyside - Emotional Well-being: Refers to aspects of an individual's psychological makeup affecting their capacity to recognize and manage emotions, their sense of self, and their ability to navigate social and psychological challenges. - Social Relationships: Interactions with others in society, such as siblings, parents, friends, schoolteachers, and classmates. - Therapeutic: Activities intrinsically or specifically designed to support individuals in coping with difficulties, particularly those related to emotional well-being. - Residential: Projects involving at least one overnight stay away from the child or young person's home.

Our goal is to support families in any way we can, physically , practically, spiritually and emotionally. We have a barnabas fund in place to help those in our local communities who need assistance and we aim to help those in need primarily through this fund. We have set up the Trading Post at our Hindley Green Church . It’s situated at the Bethel on Atherton road , Hindley Green. We are open Friday from 10-11 am and give away fresh food ( fruit / veg/ baked goods) plus cupboard staples. We are also open Saturday 10-11 am for fresh food only . We are thankful to neighbourly stores ( Aldi, M&S, Lidl) for their continued support, to Slimming World, Hindley Green and Daisy Daycare for their generous donations. We feed between 30-60 families a week from the community. Our aim is to take the pressure off ordinary families and as such we do not ask for referrals , it’s a ‘whosever will may come ‘ organisation . We want families in our community to live life to the full and we help in any way we can .
