Donna's Dream House is a locally based charity providing FREE holiday experiences to Children and Teenagers with life threatening and life limiting illnesses, along with their families to allow them to make treasured smiles and precious memories. Whilst the voluntary team of Donna’s Dream House provides the expertise, enthusiasm and administration, it is the generosity of many companies, organisations and individuals in raising and donating money that makes it possible to bring not only sunshine and fun into children’s lives, but a sense of wonder, adventure, laughter and a much-needed holiday in Blackpool for the whole family. The RNLI provides, on call, a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service to 100 nautical miles out from the coast of the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. We also provide a seasonal lifeguard service on beaches in England and Wales. The RNLI is independent from Government and therefore continues to rely on voluntary contributions and legacies for its income. Our aim is to raise the profile of the organisation locally whilst raising funds for valuable lifesaving and water safety education.
