How it works

Here's how businesses create local impact through Neighbourly.

Through Neighbourly, Marks & Spencer has donated money, turning business resources into meaningful community impact.

  1. 1

    A business gives

Through Neighbourly, businesses donate resources to local good causes.

  2. 2

A local good cause puts it to use

Support goes directly to charities and community organisations, helping them free up time and resources to focus on what matters most.

  3. 3

People get the support they need

Whether it's a hot meal, essential products, a safe place to meet or someone to talk to, support reaches people in ways that make a real difference.

  4. 4

    Every contribution counts

Together, these contributions create real, measurable impact in local communities. That's social value in action.

Dogs Trust West Calder

West Calder, UK

At Dogs Trust, we are working towards for the day when no dog will be put to sleep for want for of a loving home. We never put a healthy dog down. As well as caring for nearly 17,000 dogs every year across our network of 20 UK rehoming centres, we also run campaigns, outreach projects and education programs to teach about responsible dog ownership, training and behaviour and dog welfare in general. Our West Calder rehoming centre is one of two centres based in Scotland. It is one of our smaller centres and is home to around 50 dogs at any one time. With 18 dedicated members of staff and many kind volunteers, we were able to rehome 359 dogs last year! We are very grateful to M&S Livingston for all of the wonderful support they are going to give us, it is a huge help, and we're looking forward to the year ahead! Paws crossed that we get more of our furry friends into their forever homes than ever before!
