As a social justice charity, one of Nacro’s main aims is to ensure that disadvantaged young people reach their full potential in life. We understand that good quality and appropriate housing is often the first step to unlocking this potential by laying the foundations for stability and improvement. Here at Fishermans court Nacro nest we supports 9 Young people ages between 16 years-21 and years old our young people face many issues such as trauma, drug issues, mental heath, among an array of other needs, at fisherman's we support our young people to prepare to live independently, to enable them to move on into suitable accommodation and ensure their success in maintaining a tenancy and managing their finances for their future.

At our premises in Red Lion Street, Boston we have a Drop In Centre run by our Project Workers, supported by volunteers, which provides a safe and friendly place where our homeless and vulnerable clients can come for a hot drink and a snack. The Project Workers are able to listen to individuals privately, providing help and support as necessary including signposting them to other local agencies for more specialist support when required. We offer practical help to those sleeping rough by supplying sleeping bags, blankets and flasks of tea and coffee. Rough sleepers are also able to have a shower and we wash and dry their clothing. We can also provide replacement clothing from items which have been donated to us for those most in need. We give emergency food parcels containing enough food for up to 7 days to people who find themselves in a situation where they cannot afford to feed themselves. The food parcels are made up from food which has been kindly donated to us by local individuals, businesses, churches and schools. We also recycle furniture and other household goods which have been donated to us by giving them to people in need who usually live, or are being rehoused, in social or rented housing.

At The Butterfly Hospice Trust, we believe that a hospice is not just a building - it is a way of caring for and improving the lives of people who have a life-limiting illness or terminal illness helping them to live well before they die. The Butterfly Hospice is a new hospice built thanks to the support and generosity of the South Lincolnshire Communities who wanted an accessible local hospice for local people. They raised £1million and the hospice was built. The Butterfly Hospice stands in 4 acres of grounds next to Boston's Pilgrim Hospital. Each room has an en suite bathroom with a patio and access to the gardens with willow arbours, orchard and floral areas. There is a hydrotherapy/treatment room, lounge and further space to build a sunroom on to the lounge so that patients can enjoy out of their own rooms if they so wish. The Butterfly Hospice has four retail outlets including shops in Station Street, Spalding and Market Place, Boston plus a furniture and electrical store in Hamilton Way, Boston from which the house collection/clearance service is organised. Also our new store in Skegness. Fundraising Events are held by the charity including the annual Lincoln to Boston cycle ride and the annnual Butterfly Release which is an opportunity to celebrate life by releasing hundreds of Monarch Butterflies. As a small charity it is essential that local people and local businesses/organisations continue to support the Butterfly Hospice and we will support and work with anyone who is generously fundraising or holding a fundraising event on our behalf. To date we have received NO statutory income.
