Based in the heart of a fermanagh village Lisbellaw, We aim to minimise food waste, whilst enabling people to consume whats already produced and help a little with the many current crises by supporting groups or households that can benefit from surplus foods. Flowers are always gratefully received by schools and nursing homes. We aim to inform people to help them realise that yellow labels are perfectly acceptable, and how to repurpose food scraps instead of throwing them out.. Ultimately composting as a last resort so it repurposes as soil to be reused. The aim is ultimately to ensure that farmed produce doesn't go to waste and reduce the overall carbon footprint. Service users are identified by a variety of means, whether through 3rd party referrals, or by direct contact asking for help, Food collected goes to a variety of people in need through the different seasons, and the principle aim to make maximise use of the food allocated to people in need, no matter where they live, no matter what their colour culture or creed. Apart from food support, a mountain of help is available to people through the social group pages for clothing, furniture and start up items. There is no charge for the food or these items. For food surplus Initially i worked with a local spar for their surplus bits, but now leftover remaining stock gets distributed amongst staff which is great. Im happy to advise where needed for small businesses like this. in january i was requested to attend a function for food initiatives in the cost of living crisis. and a photo is uploaded from this day. Upcoming ideas and events are in the pipeline to expand what is acheived, and more details will be available when possible

The Molly and Mia Foundation is a registered charity aiming to create a supportive environment and social outlet for families following the loss of a baby. We aim to create opportunities for young people to try new activities, socialize and build new friendships following the loss of a brother or sister. Children and young people are directly connected to our charity in this way; having lost a brother or sister through still birth, miscarriage or infant birth. Predominantly the Molly and Mia Foundation was set up in memory of Molly and Mia and to assist parents and families who have lost babies in pregnancy or infant death. At first, aims were- - To provide premature baby clothes to as many people as possible who needed them. - Provide Moses baskets and stands to Craigavon Area Hospital. - Provide 20 memory boxes for Craigavon Area Hospital. - To start a summer scheme for children aged 4 years to 14 years in our local community. By our second anniversary the Molly and Mia Foundation had grown immensely and we began to provide small baby clothes to several hospitals, providing Moses baskets to several hospitals, providing memory boxes to all the maternity hospitals in Northern Ireland and we started a 2 week summer scheme which progressed to a Halloween and Easter scheme also. We also have run very successful cooking and bakery classes, launched our ladies night and ran several amazing Christmas events. We also have run very successful Pamper Therapeutic days for mums who have sadly lost a baby in pregnancy or infant death. For mums life can be very busy, and often they don't have time for themselves or dedicated time to think of the baby they lost. Mums are constantly busy juggling housework, jobs and quite often other children. Our day retreat programme aims to give them time to relax, enjoy a pamper and talk to other mothers who have lost a baby/babies. We also run family days where the whole family join together for some outdoor fun, have lunch and then a balloon release for the children to release in memory of the brother or sister they lost. The Foundation regenerated a derelict site in Fivemiletown to create a community garden. This is an all-inclusive community space which not only provides gardening and horticultural programmes for local people, youth and schools, but also a place for respite and remembrance for families to plant a tree in memory of a lost one. Refrigeration is here at memory garden. The rural nature of our catchment area in Fivemiletown contributes towards deprivation related to isolation and social exclusion among local residents. To combat this we need to expand the services we provide. A large percentage of locals experience rural poverty, resulting in limited access for young people to engage in any sort of activity outside of standard school hours. Air Ambulance NI is your local charity that provides the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service for Northern Ireland together with its partners at the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. We are dedicated to delivering the very best possible patient care, so our service is often the difference between life and death, making your support so vital. The aircrew attend some of the most traumatic medical incidents in the region, providing emergency pre-hospital care, both at the scene and whilst transferring the patient to the most appropriate hospital for their specific injuries. Our red helicopter can get anywhere in the province in less than 25 minutes, so travel times to the patient and to the hospital are reduced. We operate 12 hours a day, seven days a week. Our first mission was on 22nd July 2017 to a young eleven year old boy. We are tasked on average twice every single day and help people of all ages in every county of NI. Across Northern Ireland, Air Ambulance NI’s service aims to reduce the number of fatalities and improving long term outcomes for those injured.
