Bameen cic is a community based organization which delivers awareness and education/training to a diverse range of communities in Hull. It works with a range of groups of people representing diverse ethnic backgrounds using the environment as the focus for its activities. Established in 2013; it has built up a wide client group and set of skills and knowledge on environmental issues like recycling, energy efficiency and urban agriculture etc. It is in a position to offer a wide range of services in addition to training, incorporating consultancy on environmental issues and access to minority/ethnic groups for user response and feedback. In October 2019, founder of Bameen was recognized and awarded an MBE for leading Bameen to work on a range of programmes to support the Black and Minority ethnic community in Hull and East Riding ,including promoting recycling, energy saving, local food production and environmental educational training programmes.

We are a registered charity who hope to take donated fresh foods and give to families, helping fight poverty, promote healthy lifestyles and educate families on healthy living & eating habits. At the @BevCherryTreeCC we’re proud to offer an excellent advice service, an Ofsted registered pre school, a credit union, a stroke club, a ladies group, a youth club, food4families social pantry & housing project and much much more! We rely on an amazing team of mostly volunteers to keep us running!

The Hub School is a specialist provision for students with Social Emotional Mental Health Needs. We are able to support our students by offering extra support for their emotional wellbeing as well as a tailored learning package. Our students are transported in door to door from across the East Riding of Yorkshire and we offer a free breakfast package and free school meals as well as snacks throughout the day. We work in conjunction with local foodbanks to support our families and help to enable them to have less pressure for some essential items. Many of our staff donate to ensure hampers are sent home at Christmas and Easter to every student on our site. Our belief is that The Hub School is transforming lives.
