Open Door is a welcoming community space in Berkhamsted, helping to tackle social inequality and isolation in our community. We enable people to connect and contribute for their own wellbeing and that of the wider community. Our Community Food projects include our pay as feel café, community pantry, community fridge and wellbeing meals. The community fridge aims to stop food waste and collect surplus from local food businesses, please help us to unite our community to help those in need!

Our Day Service welcomes people into a caring, friendly and comfortable environment. They can come along to socialise and join in with some lovely group activities. Our team is here to give out information, promote good health and well being and give friendly and experienced advice about topics affecting a variety of people. We hope you'll spread the word about our very well loved Day Service. We'd love you to come along and join the mischief!

The Chesham Community Fridge project is run under the auspices of Kings Church Chesham in conjunction with the Hubbub Foundation. It is a non-profit charity project that aims to redistribute surplus food to the general community that would otherwise become food waste. It aims to relieve pressures on household food budgets; provide a community area that fosters sharing and collaboration; reduce local business food waste; and raise public awareness around this food issue. The project will be run indefinitely and funded through grants and donations. Find us at "The Courtyard" Broadway Baptist Church, Chesham on Wednesday and Saturday mornings 10-12noon. To date over 90 Tons of surplus food have been redistributed! Thank you Neighbourly for your contributions!
