Carewise provides support to young carers in a number of ways; - assessment where we talk about the caring role young carers take on and how it affects them. - support, advice and understanding from trained professionals and volunteers. - after school drop-in sessions. - trips and activities which offer young carers the opportunity to have a break away from their caring responsibilities and the chance to have fun and learn new skills. - one to one support which is available to isolated and vulnerable young carers who do not, or who are reluctant to, engage with group activities. - family support which is available to selected families to support the whole family to deal with issues that impact on the young carer.

Established over 125 years ago, Dogs Trust is the largest dog welfare charity in the UK. Its mission is to bring about the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction. We are funded entirely by the generosity of our supporters and without people like you it would be simply not possible to care for over 15,000 dogs every year at our 21 rehoming centres. The money you donate will be a huge help, all donations are put to good use providing our special care and finding loving homes for all the needy dogs in our centres. And of course, all donations help us to keep our promise - never to destroy a healthy dog. As well as caring for the dogs of today, Dogs Trust is also committed to helping the dogs of tomorrow by offering a range of fantastic training, education, neutering and microchipping services.

Our charity collects sick, needy, injured and unwanted animals throughout Devon, and ensures they have veterinary care if needed. We assist with the re-homing of unwanted animals. We also administer first aid and pain relief to injured wildlife before transporting them to specialists for treatment and release back to their natural habitat. Our Animal Ambulances are on the road 7 days a week, helping sick and injured animals. This year, we are raising funds to buy a new Ambulance.
