The bright morning star prisons and homelessness outreach is an award winning, non for profit organisation that has been service Londoners since 2015, Our aims and objectives is the relief and prevention poverty and homelessness across London. The organisation is doing this by running community outreach, Day centre's, coffee morning and Prisons visits to His Majesty Prisons across London. The Bright Morning Star Prisons And Homelessness Outreach head office is Chartharm Court community hall, Canterbury crescent Brixton SW9 7PT. The Day Centre is 1 Opal Street Peddlar Acre Community hall, Kennighton SE11 4HZ Although the organization in base in Lambeth but we Outreach to Homeless, rough sleepers and Prisons inmates in Southwark, Wandsworth, Croydon, West Minister Councils. and Stratford. Our organisation is a first point contact for ex offenders, rough sleepers and the homeless to get support for reintegration after they left prison. We run 5 days a week with the help of our dedicated volunteers, management and staff. The bms activities include coffee morning, food sharing community food service, , food pick up and distribution, prison visit, outreaches, housing advice, benefit advice, sign posting, trainings. art and craft, one to one counselling service and mediating between landlord and tenants. We support, elevate and help to rebuild the lives of the the most vulnerable people in London eg older people, job seekers, those on low income, Assylum seekers, refuges and the homeless people etc. The BMS is a Registered Contractor to Lambeth Council and community hall that we are using in Chartham court belong to the Council that has seen the good work that we do and offer us the space to use. we use the hall 7 days a week for the past 2 years. The Council refurbished the hall and launching was done in August 2025. We continue to partners with Job Centres that attend day centre in Kennington, Streatham and Kennington Job Centre twice a Month, Hygiene Bank, Greggs food Foundation cooperative stores, Pret A Manger Look Ahead homeless shelter, Stockwell probation services, Wandsworth Probation, and healthy living platform Lambeth, Felix Project and Fares hare, St Mathew Estate, Mursel hall, Cooperative store etc

We were founded in 2015 as Sapphire Ministries and as of November 2017, we rebranded to the Sapphire Community Group to represent inclusivity and community. In 2022 we have now rebranded to The Sapphire Employability and Wellbeing Academy (TSEAWA) as we have moved on solely to supporting BAME young people aged 5- 35 with employability, housing, wellbeing and food support. TSEAWA was established to help young people access work and accredited training. Aiming to increase young people's independence, abilities and freedom to thrive, all while reducing unemployment, mental health issues, crime rates and homelessness. OUR AIM Empowering, Equipping, Inspiring, Training, Mentoring, Motivating and Educating young people aged 5 to 35 years old through Employability, Wellbeing and Enrichment Support. OUR OBJECTIVES 1. Reducing mental health issues 2. Reducing homelessness 3. Reducing crime rates 4. Reducing unemployment 5. Increasing young people in education or training 6. Increasing skills development We are an organisation that aims to restore, revive and rebuild a divided generation. We are an organisation that accepts everyone and encourages individuals to be their truest self. We work with the 5-35 year olds around the world and we instil the message of love but most of all worth. We have over 4 years of experience and till date we have worked with over 8000 young people and single parents till date, especially those from minority and disadvantaged backgrounds. Sapphire aims to equip young people to not only be the their best version of themselves but to also inspire them to have a genuine insight of what they will like to pursue in the near future. More importantly, the community group is put in place to make a major contribution to those whose voice has been silenced and ensuring that they understand and fulfil their purpose. We are an organisation that seeks to empower and stabilise a segregated community. The sole purpose of Sapphire is to build people up. Moreover, to ensure that each individual finds what they are meant to do in life. Through mentoring, coaching, literature, entertainment, events and workshops; we aim to provide a platform and pathway for young people all over the world find their callings. Additionally, we will attempt to help each individual believe that they can create a change for the extraordinary. We aim to teach and inspire individuals to believe in themselves and see their full potential. We have multiple young people roaming the streets, because they believe that the world has given up on them or they believe that they do not have what it takes to create the impossible. So Sapphire is stepping in to give a voice to the voiceless. The Sapphire Employability and Wellbeing Academy (TSEAWA) is here to tell our young, that they are good enough! And that there is nothing they cannot achieve if they are willing to go the extra mile to achieve the unattainable today.

“We are fighting food waste and preventing residual food from going to landfill. The residual food is repurposed to ensure no one goes hungry”. We have a retail shop in the centre of High Wycombe. The shop is open 6 days a week. We have a warehouse on the first floor where we can sort and distribute food. This allows us to both run a shop feeding those in need and supply our partner organisations. We are collecting from leading major supermarkets within a 15-mile radius of High Wycombe. We also receive direct deliveries from manufacturers and warehouses. We are also a member of the Independent Food Aid Network (IFAN) which represents independent food banks and distributors across the UK. Our Food Hub model allows us to manage not only residual food but also ambient, chilled, and frozen food. The fact we have both a retail and wholesale distribution ability has been identified by Fare share as one of a few operations in SE England with this capability. Who do we supply? WFH supply products to people unable to access or buy food, those that cannot get Government aid or are unable to survive on the Government’s benefit payments, those who are now suffering from loss of jobs and the self-employed who cannot get benefits, those who cannot access the traditional referral foodbanks. The range of people coming to us for help is growing weekly. Considering what is happening nationally the need for our food and services will continue to grow. We have partnered with other charities and groups and we are supplying residual product to food distribution organisations across Bucks. We are also piloting supplying food to partner organisations who are using the ingredients in hot meals and school food packs. Current scale of operation We have volunteers out each day and evenings collecting residual food. We currently collect more than 250 crates a week from leading supermarkets, warehouses, and retail shops. Food that would otherwise go to landfill. We have a retail food hub open 6 days a week for 3 hours each day We are directly feeding Circa 500 people each week through our retail food hub and partners. In addition, we offer free food outside of the hub . Our wholesale operation is supplying both food parcels and crates of food to our partners. We are also now being asked to supply food to be used in the preparation of cooked meals. Our wholesale operation is growing each week as more organisations draw on our services Funding streams We receive no statutory finding from govt of Council. We rely on donations from public and by asking for a donation from users of our retail hub. We also supply food free to the charities and organisations who are taking food from us each week.
