(Food Pantry & SHAP Housing Project empowers vulnerable young adults aged 18–30 through our housing project and food pantry. We provide stable accommodation, essential food support, and mentoring to foster independence and build resilience. About Our Work & Who We Help: Registered as an independent charity (No. 1186029), we operate a dedicated community food pantry alongside our supported housing initiative. Our primary focus is delivering vital nutritional aid, safe accommodation, and life-skills development to young people aged 18–30, care leavers, and local families experiencing severe hardship. What Support We Need Most: To sustain our daily food distribution and support our housing project residents, our organisation relies heavily on consistent surplus food donations—particularly ambient goods, fresh produce, bakery items, and chilled essentials. Reliable access to quality surplus food allows us to reduce local waste while directly alleviating hunger and hardship for the young people and community members we support every week.

We befriend people to relieve isolation and loneliness while informing of opportunities around them, supporting them to achieve potentials by improving skills already possessed through volunteering/ work experience and placements and or providing new skills for life chances and sustainability. Based in a rented shop unit in Grahame Park Estate, 7 The Concourse, NW9 5XB, used as a Church meeting place on Sundays, we provide Youth Club on Thursday and Friday evenings, warm space in cold weather and cool space in warm weather and provide health & wellbeing activities for people aged 55+. We offer seasonal parenting programme to strengthen families and our community. We provide daily good surplus food redistribution to relieve food hunger and to prevent wastage towards Net Zero 2050, and weekly food bank with fitness exercises, and monthly nutrition advice session with social prescribing. We offer advice and referrals as needed. We provide employment skills training towards self-sustainability. We also provide financial support funded by Acts 435 and household support fund in collaboration with BOOST of Barnet Group. REHOBOTH COMMUNITY OUTREACH CLUB located 1-18 Allwood Close, Sydenham SE26 4JP is a charity and it has been entered onto the Register of Charities with the Registered Charity Number 1168822. Rehoboth Community Outreach club started reaching out to vulnerable families in 2013, offering befriending, parenting & life skills training. Over time the services evolved expanding to offer mentoring to young people, employment skills training and a food bank. In March 2014 Rehoboth started receiving requests for support with addressing the increasing issue of food poverty amongst the single homeless living in hostels and the local street homeless, this saw the launch of the Community Lunch Club. Initially the lunch club was feeding 20 people every Monday with a 2 course hot meal. But this number quickly grew to 150 people a week when Rehoboth partnered with Miriam Lodge providing meals to their most vulnerable homeless residents. The partnership has expanded and Rehoboth community outreach club “The Lunch Club” now deliver 200 meals every Monday across 2 hostels. In addition, we have some homeless people living locally in the community who walk-in and collect their meals. The feeding programme also provides a soup social, with home cooked vegetable and chicken soup with rolls to the residents in the hostels on a Friday. The generosity of our local donors business and others in neighbouring community, with financial donations from the church membership and individuals, make it possible to provide our services free to vulnerable individuals and families. The community outreach service is facilitated by a team of 25 volunteers who cook, serve food, clean, deliver the meals, and provide the befriending, mentoring and training activities. Rehoboth hopes to double its feeding programme to 300 meals a week by the end of 2018; to support at least 50 homeless people to capacity build their employment and life skills, enhancing their potential of accessing employment, education and training opportunities. The Rehoboth Community Outreach Club aims are to contribute to breaking the generational cycle of poverty and deprivation within families, inspire hope & healing in the heart and soul of vulnerable individuals and communities and encourage peace, unity and respect across generations. We seek and appreciate further financial, time and resource donations that enable us to meet our vision of UK communities free from food poverty and benefiting from sustained upward social and economic mobility for everyone.
