While staying with us, young people are provided with a key worker for one to one support and the opportunity to participate in group work. We aim to support them to gain the skills to live independently when they move into their own tenancy, and also use a holistic approach to help them overcome any barriers to fulfilling their potential they may have.

Tayside Deaf Hub is the Community Centre where Deaf Links, Dundee Deaf Sport and Social Club and Tayside Deaf Forum are based. Deaf Links run services, activities and learning that truly reflect the needs of deaf and sensory impaired people in the area, empowering them to become equal and active members of the communities they live in. Located on the ground floor of the Old Mill in Brown Street, Dundee, near the City Centre, Tayside Deaf Hub premises are extensive and include Multiple Meeting & Function Rooms, Our Training Cafe & Our NEW Social Supermarket Our goals for CommuniTay Cafe and Social Supermarket are: to reduce food waste; enable shopping with dignity at the Social Supermarket for those who won't use food banks; make good, affordable, healthy food available to all; work with community partners to reduce food poverty The company's objects are: (i) to empower deaf and sensory impaired people and facilitate improvement of their quality of life, to become active and participative citizens (ii) to improve mental health and wellbeing by reducing the social isolation, exclusion and discrimination deaf and sensory impaired people experience from the stigma attached to deafness and sensory impairment and the ensuing extreme communication difficulties (iii) to work in partnership with service providers to reduce barriers and increase access for deaf and sensory impaired people (iv) to build the capacity and facilitate consultation and involvement of deaf and sensory impaired people with service providers (v) to champion equal access, equality and diversity of deaf and sensory impaired people, within communities and service provision (vi) to do all things as may be in the interest of and for the benefit of deaf and sensory impaired people

Here at Royal Bank, we believe that by taking action together we can achieve a greater impact, and that's why we launched the Royal Bank Regenerate Fund, to support those who are determined to make a difference. We are offering fifty £3,000 grants to Scottish causes looking to undertake local sustainability projects. Applications for the Royal Bank Regenerate Fund have now closed and applications are being reviewed. All causes who applied before the closing deadline (11 August 2023) will be updated on the status of their application.
